Here are some answers to some of the most common questions asked:1. How do the tours work?
A: We would schedule a time and date for us to come to the premises during our discovery call and we would ask that the space be cleaned and prepped ready for our arrival. Otherwise, it would delay the time it takes to complete the shooting session.
Following the shooting session, we'll upload the scans to our server where images are stitched together to make your tour. Depending on the scope of work, we can provide a link to your tour and/or a social media-ready post that you can use for any social media platforms2. How long does it take to complete scans for a virtual tour?
A: The time it takes to complete a scanning session will depend on the size and the complexity of the space. Processing time may take around 48 hours, while larger spaces can take slightly longer time.3. Can we put the tour into our website?
A: Yes, we can provide you with an embeddable code for your webmaster to embed to tour into your website.4. How do I prepare for a tour scan session?
A: We can provide you a checklist with some ideal things to do to prep for the scan session.5. What are tags and what are they used for?
A: Tags are points within the tour which, when clicked, will show desired media (e.g. text, photographs, audio, or videos). PDF documents can also be used within tour tags. With video, you can upload your media to YouTube and link to it directly in the tour. Click this text to take you to a sample video tag. Tags are a great way for customers to interact with your tour and can be added or removed at any time.6. Can people be in the scan session?
A: As long as people are perfectly still during the scans, they can be in the tour. If anyone moves, they will become blurry like ghosts.
Faces can be blurred within the tour but this must be decided before the tour is uploaded to our servers.7. Can we opt to turn off a section of the virtual tour?
A: Yes. You can choose to hide any of the scans that we’ve taken. However, these areas will still be visible if you elect to have a doll house model and floor plan.8. Can a tour be photoshopped?
A: We can create edits to the tour (e.g. such as color corrections, lighting effect, etc.) but unfortunately a tour cannot be edited once complete. It is important to think about what you would like in your tour and what you would not. Avoid things which will become like special promo on posters, etc.
Staff in tours should also be avoided as they may leave the company someday.9. Can you capture a shot within the tour?
A: Yes, we can capture a high definition shot within the tour.10. What file type is captured to obtain an HD image?
A: We can provide you with an unedited RAW file.11. Can you add some branding to the tour?
A: Yes we can.12. What if I want to scan a large property or a large environment?
